Meet the Artist

Hi, I’m Sonny, the founder and artist behind Lovelines. I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember. My older brother was the one who first sparked that love of illustration, and I’ve carried it with me ever since.

After studying Graphic Design and Communication at the University of Reading and graduating in 2015, I found myself creating illustrations for charities, then working as a freelance illustrator. Over the years, I realised what I loved most wasn’t just drawing, but telling meaningful stories through art.

Lovelines is where love stories meet illustration. I create custom illustrations for couples that capture the milestones, memories and little details that make your journey unique. From personalised wedding artwork to meaningful and personal anniversary gifts for couples, each piece is drawn with care to tell your story in a way words alone can’t. Every illustration becomes a piece of artwork to treasure and display for years to come.

What I Create

I design custom illustrations for couples and custom relationship timeline artwork that bring your story to life. From wedding venues and first-date pubs to anniversaries and travels, I love capturing the places and moments that matter most – and yes, pets are absolutely part of the story too!

My Process

My work is hands-on. For artwork on paper, it starts with a sketch, then inking for detail, and finally painting with watercolour or pencil. I tend to use my iPad for creating the relationship timelines. I use an Apple Pencil alongside Procreate to create truly beautiful illustrations. Coffee and podcasts usually keep me company along the way, it’s almost become a ritual of mine.

I post process videos on my social media accounts frequently (with permission) so feel free to take a look at Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

Why It Matters

What makes this work special to me isn’t just the finished piece, but the connections I get to build with couples. I want to hear your story, uncover the little details, and sometimes even remind you of forgotten moments. The best part is when clients tell me the artwork brought back memories they hadn’t thought about in years.

I love seeing the illustrations out in the world, whether they’re displayed at weddings, printed on stationery, or hanging proudly in someone’s home.

My Promise

If you choose to work with me, you can expect high-quality, heartfelt artwork that feels personal and worth treasuring. My goal is to create something beautiful that you’ll be proud to display, and that will remind you every day of the story you’re writing together.

Personalised wedding artwork and meaningful gifts for couples

My passion is to make people smile through storytelling. Every piece I create is designed to be personal, heartfelt, and timeless. Whether it’s wedding artwork, a custom illustration for your home, or a gift that celebrates a couple’s journey, my goal is to turn your story into art you’ll treasure forever.
